Infrared Thermo Imaging

Infrared imaging is used in buildings for moisture intrusion in the building envalope, roof leaks, plumbing leaks, basement foundation moisture, electrical hot spots, insulation (heat loose), air infiltration. 

There are hundreds of applications for Thermo imaging.  It works off of temperature differences between items in the building.

You can see water leaks above ceilings that are not visible on the ceiling surface or behind walls.  Roof leaks under flat roof surfaces.

Infrared Imaging can be difficult to read sometimes, so its important to hire a professtional trained in the use of Thermo imaging.

Radon

Radon is a colorless, odorless, naturally occurring, radioactive noble gas that is formed from the decay of radium.  Radon is a significant contaminant that affects indoor air quality worldwide. Radon gas from natural sources can accumulate in buildings, especially in confined areas such as the basement and reportedly causes 21,000 lung cancer deaths per year in the United States alone.[1] Radon is the second most frequent cause of lung cancer, after cigarette smoking, and radon-induced lung cancer is thought to be the 6th leading cause of cancer death overall.
